I worked with three other writers/artists to make work for the Encounters exhibition at the VAN Street Gallery in Shoplatch, Shrewsbury in March and April 2018. The project, initiated by artist/writer Ted Eames, brought together over 20 pairings of visual artists and writers, each artist responding to the other’s work.
I was paired with poet Kate Innes, and made two new paintings which followed on from my Inhabited series. Read more about this fascinating collaboration and the poems Kate created here.
Shelter, Oil on canvas, 90cm x 120cm
Read more on my blog about my other pairings with painter Paul Baines, and with poet Ursula Troche.
